Nomad
Cold Brew

Founder / Creative Director / Product Strategist

Building a shelf-ready cold brew brand from product design to retail growth.

Nomad Cold Brew started after the pandemic as
a home-based project with a bigger vision:
creating a retail-ready specialty coffee brand focused on energy, lifestyle, consistency, and long-term scalability.

Nomad was designed as more than a coffee product. The goal was to build a scalable cold brew brand with retail
presence, lifestyle positioning, and operational consistency from day one.

Built by a 2-3 person team, perceived as a much larger brand through systems, consistency, retail presence, and visual
execution.

sales, store relationships,
shelf strategy, and online
marketplace validation.

Project Context

Nomad Cold Brew was born during the post-pandemic shift toward healthier routines, functional beverages, and specialty coffee culture. At the time, very few cold brew products in Baja California offered strong branding, retail readiness, or long shelf stability.

The project started with a simple but ambitious vision: operate like a larger company from the beginning, even as a small independent team. From product development to branding, logistics, production systems, and retail strategy, every decision was designed around long-term scalability.

Two core products were developed from the start:

• Ready-to-drink cold brew
• Cold brew concentrate

Both products were built using specialty coffee from Oaxaca, with different extraction times, coffee-to-water ratios, and production workflows depending on the final use case.

Over time, the project expanded into retail distribution, marketplace sales, multi-city operations, product R&D; and FDA-ready canning preparation for future U.S. expansion.
